The WildKind Way
August 2026
|
|
|
I've been reading about what happens every time you show up for yourself.
Every time you try something new, walk into a room even when you feel nervous, honor a boundary, ask for help, or choose rest when you need it, you build trust with yourself. You prove that fear does not have to make every decision and that your needs are important.
Those small moments add up. Each one makes the next brave choice a little easier.
This month, I hope you find one small way to show up for yourself, because every time you do, you remind yourself that you are worth showing up for. And I know that is absolutely true.
Wildly yours,
Steph Butler

Stick, Stitch & Press - Attach Your Patch
Have a WildKind patch waiting to find its home? Bring your vest, jacket, backpack, or blanket and join us for a relaxed, hands-on afternoon of attaching patches and sharing stories.
We’ll guide you through iron-on, hand-stitching, and fabric glue options. Every attendee will receive a WildKind Collective logo patch, adhesive sample, embroidery needle, and thread, and we’ll have a heat press available.
Your patch is more than decoration. It is a reminder of what you have achieved and the community you have helped build.
Bring your own snack and drink, along with any additional patches you would like help attaching.
Tickets must be purchased by August 10, so we have time to order supplies. A minimum of 10 attendees is required for the event to take place.
Don’t forget your vest! Vests ordered by August 1 will be available for pickup at the event.

Fall Camp Registration Closes September 4
Fall Camp is getting closer, and space is becoming very limited!
We currently have just 4 dorm spots and 4 primitive tent camping spots remaining. Registration will officially close on September 4, or sooner if all available spaces are claimed.
Join us for a three-day weekend filled with connection, creativity, laughter, reflection, and a little WildKind magic. If Fall Camp has been calling to you, now is the time to claim your spot!

A Gentle Invitation for Newer Wildlings
New here or nervous about attending? You do not need to know anyone, bring a friend, or be naturally outgoing. Let us know you are coming alone, and we can connect you with a Wild Ambassador before the event.

Meet the WildKind Leadership Team
WildKind Collective is supported by a small team of women who help shape our events, community spaces, and the experience we hope every Wildling has.
We recently updated our leadership page so you can learn a little more about Steph, Angela, Jess, Stacy, and Bekah, including the personalities, passions, and skills each person brings to WKC.

As August unfolds, we hope you find a reason to show up for yourself and a few chances to show up alongside us.
Whether that means joining us at Stick, Stitch & Press, claiming one of the final Fall Camp spots, or simply staying connected from where you are, you are an important part of this community.
We cannot wait to see what this next season brings.
Stay wild,
Steph, Angela, Jess, Stacy, and Bekah
